AASKF

Loux-Nesei - Shotokai - Kyosho Jitsu & Tuite Jitsu are branches stemming from Loux-Nesei-Shotokan Karate system that deals exclusively with the manipulation of joints and the striking of pressure points.

Most martial artists are familiar with the terms Kyosho Jitsu & Tuite Jitsu from Master George Dillman.  However since these are generic terms rather than style specific (i.e. Ryu Kyu Kempo) I have chosen to use them to describe our philosophy on the subject.

Initially, I did not know what to call what I was doing other  than kata bunkai.
As my research progressed I decided I wanted another way to refer to what I was learning, and would eventually be teaching.  since Shihan Loux's information on pressure point manipulation was the basis for my research, I started calling it simply Loux-Ryu.   Sam

              History Of Shihan Loux  &
The All American Shotokan Karate Federation

The story of Shihan Loux is in fact the story of the AASKF

From the first day Shihan Loux set foot inside a Dojo, he began training with passion and commitment, as with everything else in his life.  After many years of relentless training Shihan Loux founded his first Karate school.  He went on to establish two other schools, teaching thousands of students and sewing the seed for what is now the AASKF.

During his years of traing Mr. Loux was a tournament world champion in the 1999, 2000, and 2001 Goodwill Games, World Cup, and Americas Cup.

Shihan Loux holds certificates of rank from the Ohio Black Belt Alliance, The World Congress of Amateur Athletes and the Okinawan Karate Federation.  Mr. Loux is a board member with the World Congress Of Amateur Athletes under the leadership of Dr. Harold Mayle President and “Team USA” head coach.

In 2003, Mr. Loux was inducted into the International Martial Arts Hall Of Fame (along with others including Stephen Segal, Jet Lee, T.J. Storm, and Stephanie Cheeva in Las Vegas.)  He was also honored as “ Master Of The Year,” and given the title of “Professor.” Shihan (One Who Brings Water) or a teacher of teachers is the only way to accurately describe Mr. Loux.  He currently is moving to San Jose Dos Compos  Brazil to found a new school “Odesseia” INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MARTIAL ARTS  and CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT and headquarters the AASKF for a world membership drive.

In 2006, a group of Mr. Lox’s first students from the original hombu Dojo, along with Mr. Loux’s highest ranking black belt Sam Cornett, Sensei, gathered to systemize a standard for Mr. Loux’s teachings.  The end result was the birth of the All American Shotokan Karate Federation and the systemization of what we are loosely referring to as “Loux-Ryu” Shotokan Karate.
